Every year, the Digital Divas Summit is built around a theme that reflects the conversations women are already having long before they arrive at the event.

In previous years, those conversations centred on confidence, visibility, financial independence, identity, reinvention, and community. This year, however, the organising team found themselves returning to a broader idea that seemed to sit beneath all of those themes: Change.

Not a single shift, but many happening simultaneously!

AI is transforming the nature of work. Career paths are becoming less predictable. Leadership is evolving. Visibility has become both opportunity and pressure. Conversations around burnout, wellbeing, hormones, longevity, and sustainable ambition are increasingly finding their way into boardrooms, founder circles, and professional networks. At the same time, many women are questioning long-held assumptions about success and asking what a fulfilling career and life should actually look like in a world that feels increasingly fast-moving and 'always on.'

It was from these conversations that the theme for Digital Divas Summit 2026 emerged: SHIFT.

Taking place on Friday, 28 August 2026 at Innovation City Cape Town, the annual summit will bring together women from across business, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, finance, and the creative industries for a day of practical learning, meaningful connection, and future-focused conversation.

While many conferences focus on where the world is going, Digital Divas has always been more interested in what those changes mean for the people living through them.
