Co-Founder MsFit Ventures
Investor. Innovator. Champion of Change.
Egla Ntumba is the co-founder and Managing Partner of MsFiT Ventures, a Cape Town-based SME debt fund
committed to backing female-led businesses with flexible working capital and supply chain finance. A bold
advocate for inclusive capital, Egla is reshaping access to finance for women entrepreneurs across Southern
Africa.
Before founding MsFiT, Egla was a senior venture capital investor at Newtown Partners, where she managed
investments for DP World’s global corporate innovation fund, focusing on early-stage startups disrupting global
trade, logistics, and healthcare through transformative tech.
Her financial expertise runs deep: Egla spent years in corporate banking, deploying over $1 billion in trade finance
and managing debt portfolios for global giants like Coca-Cola, DHL, and Reckitt Benckiser across East, West, and
Southern Africa.
But before finance, there was hustle! Egla cut her teeth as COO of a fast-growing consumer retail startup, where
she led strategic expansion for nearly a decade. That blend of operator grit, banking precision, and VC foresight
makes her uniquely equipped to support Africa’s next generation of bold female founders.
At Digital Divas 2025, Egla will lead the Masterclass “Becoming Something New,” a bold, future-facing session on
the world of work over the next 5–10 years. What careers are fading? What industries are rising? Where are AI and
emerging markets creating new opportunities and closing old doors? Expect a grounded, insight-rich session that
will help women future-proof their careers, businesses, and skills in an era of constant reinvention.
