Amira Rasool is the founder and CEO of The Folklore, a New York–based software company empowering small
brands in emerging markets to sell globally through cross-border commerce and smart shipping solutions. Since
launching in 2018, she’s raised $6.2M in venture capital, built partnerships with Farfetch, Nordstrom, and Macy’s,
and earned recognition from Forbes 30 Under 30, Vogue Business 100 Innovators, and Entrepreneur's Next Gen
Industry Change Makers.

A former fashion writer and editor for TIME, Vogue, and i-D, Amira brings a rare blend of cultural insight and
business acumen to everything she builds. Her background in African and African American Studies (Rutgers, UCT)
grounds her work in purpose, storytelling, and equity.

At Digital Divas 2025, Amira will close the summit with “Becoming Real,” a reflective fireside conversation shaped
around the unique path of the female founder. From the pivots to the clarity, the evolution to alignment, this
